Double Sheet, Splice, and Label Detection

Double Sheet Detectors:

Double sheet sensors can be used in applications where the automatic detection of single and double sheet material is required. This detection is often required to error proof feed operation, prevent machine jamming or avoid material waste when feeding paper, films or foils in automatic equipment. Common applications include sheet-fed printers and packaging machines.

Splice Detector:

Pepperl+Fuchs’ ultrasonic splice detector is a special-purpose version of the double sheet detector designed to detect high-speed web splices.

Label Detector:

The ultrasonic label detector is an application-specific version made to detect labels on a carrier material for packaging and labeling machines.

Double Metal Sheet Detector:

Ultrasonic double metal sheet detectors can distinguish between 0, 1, or 2 sheets of metal up to 3mm thick. Typical applications include stamping machines and destackers.
